"This home is a beautifully restored older home. It has a great kitchen, 2 great outdoor areas (one fenced in with a fire pit), a wonderful living area and plenty of places for sleeping. We stayed there for a week and loved our visit! Kid-friendly! It was a great place to come back to after a long day hiking, biking, etc. We will stay there again if we visit Hill City again! "My family & I rented this house while on vacation this past summer & we really enjoyed it! The location was wonderful! There are several restaurants within walking distance and it was very convenient staying on Main Street. After a long day of sightseeing, we could take a short walk to eat out or stay in & use the house's kitchen. The house is also within walking distance of the 1880's Train & the Black Hills Museum of Natural History, which my boys ages 12, 8, & 4 really enjoyed. The house has wonderful amenities--I particularly loved having the washer & dryer!!--and had plenty of room for the five of us to spread out. We also had fun roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and running around in the fenced-in side yard. Although you are located on Main St., the town is very quiet at night and you are able to sleep with the windows open without being disturbed. If we took another vacation to South Dakota, we would definitely stay here again! " - Mandy Chonos
